It
took them a half to get going, but once they did the Hood River
Valley girls soccer team had no problem dispatching the Madras
White Buffaloes 4-0 in the Eagles season opener on Tuesday.
After a scoreless first half, Erin Costello scored minutes into
the second and then added another a short time later. Hillary
Sager followed that with a pair of goals on rebounds to close
out the scoring.
The
Eagles (1-0, 0-0) next travel to Sandy for a jamboree on
Saturday.
For
more details on the Eagles and the rest of the week in soccer,
