Tango Kilo rocks County Fair
One of the hottest bands on the L.A. club scene, Tango Kilo,
will be the featured band at the Hood River County Fair on
Thursday, July 24, at 8 p.m. Playing as part of their Northern
Soul Tour, the band is promoting their new album, “Rain in
Blue.” Fans describe the band as “a little alternative and
little retro-rock.” The fair runs July 24-26 with music for the
whole family on the main stage each day. On Friday at 6 p.m.,
check out Nevada Slim and Cimmaron Sue, and at 8 p.m., it’s “Los
Enemigos del Silenzio.” On Saturday, singer Zac Grooms plays at
7 p.m., opening for country music singer Eric Church at 8 p.m.

Gorge Games party July 18
Country band The Fenderbenders featuring Ted Matzen will be
performing at a Gorge Games party at Naked Winery on Friday,

Tess Barr at Dixie’s July 12
Local band The Tess Barr Blues Band will be at Dixie’s

Music at Good River returns
It’s local musician Polly Norris — with the “Lazy Sunday
Music Series,” on Sunday, July 13, from 4-7 p.m. at the Good

Squrl’s Blues is back on July 18
Squrl’s Blues Revue returns to the airwaves starting Friday,
July 18, from 8 p.m. to midnight. The show can be heard on
classic rock station 92.7 KMSW, and will feature the latest from
regional and national blues, zydeco, folk and roots music
artists.
Kids get in free at Golden Garter
The Golden Garter Theatre in Stevenson, Wash., is offering
free admission to children ages 11 and under with each paying
adult for all of their remaining shows, announced theater
manager Steve Taylor. Shows resume July 18 and run off and on
